~Things I Might Have Said~
I tried to write a poem
About my love for you
So I could tell you how I feel
But I wasn't able to
I wanted you to know for sure
That I love you very much
And wanted words of poetry
Your heart somehow to touch
I wanted you to know that I
Adore you when you smile
And I always want to be with you
If only for a while
I hoped my poem would convey
What a part of me you are
And no matter where I may be now
Thoughts of you are never far
My poem would have told you
Of the joy inside my heart
And how it's always been that way
For the day we had our start
But the poem that I hoped to write
Will forever be unread
And you will never know my thoughts
Or the things I might have said
Foreigner
She stands in the middle,
all alone in the crowd
And calls out noisily in their lull ...
Nobody notices - her obviousness is invisibility.
Her repeated attempts
are just flung to the void
As the other sounds echo over ...
Nobody listens- her persistence is powerlessness.
It used to be different,
they used to answer
A sigh and there would be remedy ...
Nobody remembers- her existence is extinction.
There's naught again,
but a corner to shrink in
Go back to where she came from ...
Nobody cares- her emotion is numbness.

Hang
Hold the experience
Release
Feel the drop
Fly
Hear the wind roar
Celebrate
It is done
Was it all for attention?
'Untitled'
Soft color spring
Thick breathing summer
Deep golden fall
Dark shadow winter
Singing stars
Across a dancer moon
Sleep Mother Earth
Dream Father whispers
His warm secrets
"3am"
In the dark and the still
you lie there and wait
and think of your days gone by
Of what you've said
what you've done
and those that you haven't
you can't help but break down and weep
Silent tears; not a sound
don't wake him up
don't let him know
these secret burdens only you bear
Time will tell
what they mean
just then will you know
down which road your life will travel
But for now then
go to sleep
let dreams come in their time
only then is your mind at peace
In the dark and the still
you lie there in wait
and think of your days gone by
